About the Role and Responsibilities

Software Development Engineer

Location: Bangalore

About the Role:


-
This person will be responsible for design and development of security software for the NSP products.

-
The person should be highly technical and hands-on and will be working on the Data Plane software.

-
Will be responsible for design and coding of new features & will need to make sure the team schedules are met.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:
-
3 to 5 years of software development experience.

-
Strong 'C' programming skills.

-
2+ years developing security software for a realtime OS.

-
Working knowledge of IPv4/IPV6 a must.

- Detailed understanding of TCP/IP fragmentation, segmentation, reassembly and TCP internals.
-
Knowledge of traffic generation and analysis tools such as tcpdump/tcpreplay, ethereal, smartbits.

- Prior Experience in firewall, NAT, VPN, IDS/IPS on Multiprocessor SoC platforms will be preferable.
- Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.

Education : BE in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
